Screening for developmental disorders in childhood are a routine aspect of standard pediatric care. While ADHD and other developmental disorders can be diagnosed based on clinical guidelines and questionnaires, a more in-depth evaluation may identify additional disorders associated with ADHD. Through our integrative, comprehensive evaluations we can determine if your child may be experiencing anxiety, depression, sleep disorder, mood or personality disorders, or other developmental disorder.

Dr. Joy Nauman administers a thorough assessment including personal history, family history, standardized behavior checklists, executive functioning rating scales, computerized testing as well as interpreting biological markers such as blood work, urine testing, and monitoring heart rate variability. From this assessment, Dr. Nauman works with families and other specialists to develop a comprehensive, integrative treatment plan. **Please note: Dr. Nauman currently cannot prescribe controlled substances such as stimulant medication. Should medication management be included in the treatment plan, Dr. Nauman will facilitate a referral to a mental health specialist.
